I-Search Topic: Video Game Addiction

In my college English class, we had to decide on a topic we would like to do our I-Search papers on. My choice happened to be video game addiction. I however have experienced this addiction and it was hard to get myself off runescape. Today I do not play any games besides sims social on Facebook, but many of my friends who are boys spend their everyday lives playing video games. Many of people don't believe they have this ridiculous addiction. Like me, I never thought I had a problem until I realized I wasted my whole summer on one game. Playing runescape was fun but I regret it. I never went out, hung out with my friends, I was very pale, and I never wanted to leave my own house.

From this research I hope to actually find out how many teens are affected from this. I feel like this can take a huge part in someone's life. I have seen a few people drop out of school due to video games. Weekly I will have more blogs on what I have learned new from this addiction!
